Testimonials

Patrick, Thought you would like to receive this feedback from a test dentist in Wales. Very positive feedback.

Kind regards,

Richard

Silverfil Argentum is the world's first and only NON TOXIC pure silver filling that does not contain any unreacted or "excess" mercury.

Non-Toxic, Resin Free (BPA), Mercury Free, Fluoride Free

A revolutionary material...

Silverfil works just like any other amalgam filling, employing the same usage and handling techniques, but minus the problems of excess mercury within the fillings.

Unlike conventional dental amalgams, Silverfil consists of only silver particles and a partially amalgamated silver-mercury compound. It contains no tin or copper.

The highly reactive powder of Silverfil Argentum completely absorbs all of the mercury used for amalgamation, leaving no traces of any of mercury behind in the fillings (tested at City University, London and University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur).

Micro-leakage in Open-Sandwich

BPA, of course, is a concern. It’s a known endocrine disruptor that may contribute to physical and neurological problems during early developmental stages in a person’s life. Research has also shown it to interfere with proper thyroid function and possibly be carcinogenic.

And a few years ago, a paper published in Pediatrics confirmed that it is, in fact, released from some dental materials.

Dental resin composite that are tooth-colored materials have been considered as possible substitutes to mercury-containing silver amalgam filling.

Despite the fact that dental resin composites have improved their physico-chemical properties, the concern for its intrinsic toxicity remains high.

Some components of restorative composite resins are released in the oral environment initially during polymerization reaction and later due to degradation of the material.

The use of dental resin composites in dentistry is ubiquitous and during the past decades composite restorations have proved to be satisfying alternate for amalgam to restore traumatized and decayed teeth.[1]

Despite their growing popularity there are concerns that resin composites may be toxic based on the fact that they may release components such as Bisphenol-A BPA

What is all of this exposure adding up to? According to several recent studies and articles, A myriad of health conditions.

Bisphenol A has been shown to:

·  Cause Breast Cancer

·  Leads to Obesity

·  Result in widespread fertility problems

·  Feminize boys (endocrine-disrupting chemical that mimics the hormone estrogen)

·  Accelerate maturation in girls

·  Increase diabetes risk

·  Cause depression and hyperactivity in young girls of the BPA exposed mother

·  Cause aggressive behavior and ADHD in male children.

On September 20, 2011, a major legislative health breakthrough occurred when the California Senate voted to ban Bisphenol A from baby bottles and sipping cups sold within the state. More recently, a group of 20 scientists are discussing with United States agencies to regulate the use of the chemical. This action move is after 20 years of research on the harmful effects of BPA and other chemicals.
